A case study - new client

A construction company, very busy but with little idea how they are doing financially.  They process their own accounting information but due to a number of posting errors this information doesn't tell them how they are doing.  Even with errors corrected it will never tell them how they are likely to be doing in six or twelve months time.  The solution? We imported their accounting data, correcting the errors, into our own accounting software.  We then had a meeting with the client and added detailed budgets for the next twelve months into our program.  The client now has detailed weekly cashflows, monthly projected profit and loss and balance sheets for the next 12 months and a full customer, supplier and project analysis.  If you want to know how this software can help your company - click software.

Company year end 31 December.  Park Denholm & Co prepare monthly accounts with projected information.  With the accounts for the ten months to 31 October we provide management with detailed draft budgets for the following year.  Because we work with the client on a regular basis we can incorporate all our knowledge of the client and his/her business sector into our forward forecasts.  We then meet with the client before the end of November and finalise the budgets for the following year.  The client is again working to a plan.  This is not a business plan  prepared for the bank, often at great expense, and then once it has served its purpose forgotten about.  This is a continuous evolving plan which is an integral part of the company's success.  If the client's bankers require financial information, historical and projected it can now be ready within a few days.  The reality is this information is available now but we don't want to respond too quickly to the bank!
